MP pays a visit

Transmec UK’s Redditch branch welcomed the town’s new MP Rachel Maclean who was suitably impressed with the tour given by general manager John Simkins.

Mrs Maclean, who is a member of the House of Commons’ Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee, described it as a “great visit”.

“I enjoyed seeing what goes on in such a huge warehouse, and chatting to staff. It’s obviously a good company to work for - some of the people have been there for a good long while,” she added.
