Transmec brings the magic of the Plautus Festival to life

When theatre meets history, an event is born that spans the centuries and continues to stir emotions.
This is the spirit of the Plautus Festival, the summer series dedicated to classical and traditional theatre, which each year transforms Sarsina—an ancient Roman colony—into an open-air stage.

From 6 July to 17 August, the Arena Plautina will host some of the most renowned Italian theatre companies, ready to breathe new life into the works of classical authors and, above all, the comedies of Plautus.

With its brilliant characters, lively dialogue and paradoxical situations, the great Latin playwright still proves today his extraordinary ability to entertain and engage audiences.
