Generous staff give children a brighter Christmas
Generous employees at Transmec’s Redditch and Bradford branches brought Christmas cheer to their local communities.
Both depots made bumper donations to their local foodbanks, with Bradford’s efforts helping the Wyke Foodbank and Redditch supporting Acts of Kindness (AoK), which operates Redditch Foodbank.
In Bradford the appeal was spearheaded by business services manager Kerry Jackson, while logistics supervisor Jess Langford led the charge in Redditch in response to AoK’s appeal for children’s gifts.
AoK was delighted with the response, with wellbeing coordinator, Carrie Putt saying: “Thank you, Transmec, for helping us spread Christmas cheer and making this season brighter for families who need it most.”
It was the Redditch branch’s second foodbank donation in as many months, as three large boxes of food were previously donated to the Friends of Isaac foodbank.
