Generous staff give children a brighter Christmas
The generosity of Transmec’s Redditch branch will help to ensure that no child in the local community goes without presents during the festive season.
Staff responded overwhelmingly to a gift appeal launched by the charity Acts of Kindness (AoK) in Redditch.
By providing toys, books, games, and clothing, the scheme aims to bring joy to children who might otherwise spend the holiday period without presents.
Transmec donated bags and boxes full of gifts, following a collection organised by logistics supervisor, Jess Langford.
AoK was thrilled by the response from Transmec, with wellbeing coordinator, Carrie Putt saying “a massive thank you”.
“The difference you have made to the families we support is huge. We will be able to help over 100 families to give their children a magical Christmas,” she added.
