Transmec wins ‘Mela D’Oro 2018’
Transmec is proud to announce that it has won the prestigious Mela D'Oro 2018 as a Work Life Balance Friendly Company, promoted by the Marisa Bellisario and Confindustria Foundations.
The award is aimed at companies that have distinguished themselves in the field of gender equality, with policies and strategies for the development and promotion of women's careers and innovative and effective corporate welfare policies.
The awards ceremony was held at the Rai Auditorium at the Foro Italico in Rome on June 15 and was subsequently shown on national television.
Taking to the stage to collect the award were Danilo Montecchi, CEO of Transmec Group, and Franca Scagliarini, HR Manager Transmec Italia.
The important milestone was achieved thanks to the work of the Transmec group for women's policies and corporate welfare.
Transmec Italia boasts a total female workforce of 49.9%, and its management is made up of 55% women, a figure that is even more significant given that the transport and logistics sector is historically "male-oriented".
There is no pay gap and only merit and professionalism are rewarded.
