Transmec looks to the future
Transmec sponsored a ‘Future is Logistics’ event looking at the best ways to address the significant changes facing supply chains.
Organised by AILOG, the Italian Association of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and taking place in Milan, the event focused on ‘New skills to guide the change’.
The convention saw experts share their experience and suggest new strategies relating to changes in products, production and distribution, but above all consumers and modes of purchase.
“In order to provide the best service to our clients, it’s vital that we anticipate changes and ensure that we’re fully prepared,” said Giorgio Maggiali, managing director of Transmec Log, the Group’s industrial logistics division.
“Sharing ideas and good practice is one way we can achieve this and we were pleased to support the ‘Future is Logistics’ event.”
The special event was organised as part of AILOG’s 40th anniversary.
