Transmec helps footballers to look pitch perfect

Support from the branch has funded new tops for St John Vianney FC’s under 10s team that plays in Division 2 of the Dublin and District Schoolboys'/Girls' League (DDSL).

It’s the second time that Transmec has sponsored the jerseys for the team, which is one of four St John Vianney sides in that age group.

“We’re very grateful to Transmec for their continued support. The kids are delighted with their new kits,” said Kieran Groarke, one of the team’s coaches.

“The club’s 2014 intake started out with an academy of only 14 children back in 2018. Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength and now have 50 children playing in the DDSL across the four teams. Sponsorship from companies such as Transmec really makes a difference.”
