Transmec delivers another strong performance

Details of another record-breaking year for Transmec were shared at the Group’s annual meeting in Italy.

Consolidated revenues rose to 330 million euros in 2019, an increase of six per cent from 2018 and ahead of the sector average.

Group CEO Danilo Montecchi said: “This is another very strong set of results from the Group, underpinned by our collective passion for delivering excellent service and innovative solutions for our customers.

“There was a consistent performance across all our divisions, including road and rail transport, logistics, air and sea. Investment in all areas will continue in the coming year.”

Group plans for 2020 include expanding the geographic coverage of its European operations and further development of technology and ecommerce solutions

Ongoing care for Transmec’s 1,050 employees will be provided through the extension of its pioneering welfare platform, which has been launched across the Group’s branches in Italy.

The platform offers benefits and support in a wide range of areas, including health and work-life balance, while promoting tolerance, diversity and equal opportunity as part of a progressive workplace culture.

Around 200 employees from branches across Europe attended the meeting, which took place at the Ruote Da Sogno classic vehicle centre at Reggio Emilia, near Transmec’s headquarters at Campogalliano.
