Supporting Red Cross efforts for Ukraine
Transmec branches in Eastern Europe are making warehouse space available to support the humanitarian relief efforts for the people of Ukraine.
Branches at Oradea in Romania and Gliwice in Poland have each offered 500 sq m for use by the Red Cross to store aid and vehicles.
“Our branches are close to the Ukrainian border, and we’re keen to provide practical support for the Red Cross, helping in whatever ways we can,” explained Emanuel Barboni, branch manager of Transmec Romania, Oradea.
Further assistance is being provided by Transmec Italy, with employees making donations to help buy specific medicines and items that are needed by the Red Cross.
