Logistics to support Cupra’s future vision

Needing to transport 1500 cubic metres of stand materials into the city centre, organisers called on Transmec De Bortoli Group’s Munich branch to help overcome logistical challenges.

“Access for trucks and trailers was restricted so our customer had to unload everything outside the central area,” explained Kurt Fleschuetz, managing director of TDBG Deutschland.

“On their arrival from Spain we cross-docked everything in our depot, kept the warehouse open 24/7 for four weeks and sorted every item for step-by-step delivery. Timing was critical.

“After the event we loaded everything within three days for the return to Spain. It was challenging but very successful – the launch went extremely well.”
