Joining forces in the fight against Covid-19

In the UK, the Group’s Bradford branch has made regular collections of protective gowns made at Burberry’s factory in West Yorkshire, delivering them for use by NHS hospitals.

In Italy, near Modena, Transmec assisted the Red Cross volunteers of Castelfranco Emilia, by donating protective masks and visors as well as a sanitising machine for cleaning ambulances.

“Assisting others is in Transmec’s DNA. We’re proud of our support for the community and have been pleased to help out during what has been a very challenging period for everyone,” said Transmec Group CEO, Danilo Montecchi.

Transmec has also lent a helping hand to UK social enterprise, This is Dementia, by transporting hand-drawn T-shirts which aim to raise funds and reshape people’s opinions about the condition.
