Transmec UK has gained ISO 45001 certification, proving that it’s part of an elite group when it comes to the health, safety, and welfare of its employees.
All operational UK sites are included in the UKAS accreditation, which was awarded after a rigorous eight-day audit by the British Assessment Bureau.
“We always strive to meet the highest standards and we’re delighted that our efforts have been recognised,“ said Matt Cutler, Transmec UK’s health and safety officer.
“This certification demonstrates to our customers and stakeholders that keeping people safe is at the forefront of everything that we do.”
Transmec’s many good practices include involving employees in health and safety meetings and awarding a £25 voucher each month to the employee whose suggestion has the biggest impact on improving health, safety or wellbeing on site.
“The standard is designed to engage employees and to give them the opportunity to make a real difference to their place of work. This is definitely something that we’re embracing,” added Matt.
