Transmec’s special projects division is raising the bar when it comes to service – What customers say and getting great feedback from customers.
Managing storage, transportation and installations, the team specialises in fitness equipment and serves gyms and homes across the UK, even carrying out a recent installation at 10 Downing Street.
Providing UK-wide coverage, teams operate from Transmec’s depots at Bradford, West Thurrock and Redditch.
“Every team member is specially trained for their role and is of course instilled with Transmec’s can-do attitude!” said Paul Priestley, manager of the 52-strong division.
“We know speed and efficiency is key. We always aim to keep disruption to a minimum and it’s always nice when this is recognised by clients.”
Already supporting leading brands such as Technogym – who have provided additional training on customer service soft skills - and WattBike, the growing client list now includes national fitness equipment retailers.
“The division has evolved from a transportation and delivery service to one where we now carry out full installations, servicing and relocations,” added Paul.
“What’s more, many of our new clients are obtained from recommendations so it proves we’re doing a good job.”
