COVID-19 and Transmec Group services

Across the Group our branches continue to follow all directions from their respective governments and health institutions, including the World Health Organisation.

In Italy, where freight transport is excluded from the Government’s restrictions, we have adopted additional preventative measures to protect employees in offices and warehouses, as well as drivers and, more widely, our customers and suppliers.

These include minimising contact with others and avoiding direct contact with drivers, using hygienic products (including, where necessary, wearing gloves and masks), “smart working” and suspending business trips.

We remain committed to supporting our customers and minimising the impact of COVID-19.
