Branch volunteers join monthly litter pick

Team members Paul Priestley, Amanda Wigglesworth and Lesley Williams volunteered for a litter pick organised by Cleckheaton Community Group, with others set to take part in subsequent months.

Paul Priestley, who is branch manager, said: “It’s a great initiative and we were pleased to participate, along with other local organisations and businesses. People only need to take a few hours off every month but collectively we can make a big difference.”

The litter pick is the latest in a string of community initiatives supported by the branch. These range from local sporting events - such as junior football tournament and the Ronde Van Calderdale sportive - to transporting aid for Ukraine.
