Artistic shipment to San Diego
Transmec has helped the well-known Italian artist Maurizio Rinaudo to export his canvas works for the inauguration of a new church in Escondido, San Diego.
Shipping was challenging given the tight deadlines for delivery and the export documentation required from Milan’s Accademia Belle Arti.
Despite this, the goal was achieved and Father Ken was able to receive the works in time.
Roberto Fumagalli, Branch Manager of the sea and air division in Milan, said: "Transmec has shipped 3.500.000 kg of goods by air this year, but shipments such as this really stand out and make a lasting impression. We are very pleased and proud of the success of this operation - it was not easy."
The works that will be exhibited inside the church represent the Baptism of San Giovanni.
About the artist:
Born in Venasca (Cuneo) on July 15, 1946, Maurizio Rinaudo lives and works in Osasco and Pinerolo (Turin).
A painter and sculptor since the 1970s, he is an exponent of ‘Metaformismo’, working creatively in the figuratism of sacred art.
Maurizio is also a regional delegate of the International Academy of Modern Art in Rome and founder of the School of Painting in Osasco and Pinerolo. He has worked and been recognised throughout Italy and internationally.
