A ‘green’ development

Transmec Group has always adopted a long-term company policy of reconciling economic targets with environmental ones, with the aim of preserving its heritage for current and future generations.

In line with these aims, a document digitalization project carried out by Transmec Italy in 2020, will save 130 trees per year, the equivalent of 4,5 tonnes of CO2.

This has been made possible by a re-engineering of processes ahead of a new document management system (2021/2022 project), the introduction of more eco-friendly printers and the avoiding of unnecessary printing.

Phase 2 of the project is underway and other tangible ecological results are expected over the next two years.
