Transmec India branches target further growth

Managers from Transmec’s five branches in India gathered in Delhi to discuss growth plans for the new financial year.

The annual meeting, attended by branch managers and key salespeople, reflected on a successful 12 months for the division, with top performance coming from its Bengaluru office.

Set up in 2006, Transmec India has 42 employees and is an important part of the Group’s global network. In addition to Bengaluru, it has strategically located bases in Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad.

All branches combined strong domestic and global sales during 2023/24, managing a balance of inbound and outbound freight fowarding services.

Plans for the current year include increasing the number of employees to support domestic customers’ air and sea freight requirements.

Many of our manufacturing customers are expanding and we expect this to drive growth in our FCL and air exports to USA and Europe,” explained Raman Chandel, Transmec India’s general manager.

We’re also expecting a further upturn in our air imports from Italy and China, while a potential trade deal with the UK presents longer term opportunities.”

In this atmosphere of growth and ambition, Transmec India is preparing to scale new heights in the national and international logistics landscape, confirming its commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
