Transmec Log achieves “SA8000 Lavoro Etico” certification

On August 3rd, 2011 Transmec Log has achieved “SA8000 Lavoro Etico” certification, proving the commitment to social accountability and to ethical treatment of human resources.

 

Thanks to SA8000, Transmec Log is conformed to international standards relating to the following areas: 

•          child labour;
•          hard labour;
•          health and safety at work;
•          freedom of association and right to collective bargaining;
•          discrimination;
•          disciplinary actions;
•          working hours;
•          remuneration
•          management of human resources
 

Particularly innovative was the further issue of a certificate together with Log Italia, a subsidiary company of Transmec Log, ensuring control of the entire chain of work. 

Once again Transmec Group proved the company attention for social accountability, working conditions of the employees and customer satisfaction.
